Due to the commissioning of the new electronic interlocking at Ostbahnhof, there will be the following restriction in S-Bahn traffic to/from the airport from June 6 from 10.30 p.m. until June 13, 2025 4.00 a.m.. S8 trains to/from the airport will start/end in Johanneskirchen and there will be replacement bus services between Johanneskirchen and Ostbahnhof.

Passengers traveling towards the airport should use the S1.
