Is W-LAN available at the airport?
Wireless LAN is free of charge in the waiting areas of both terminals as well as the Munich Airport Center. Users of notebook computers, tablets and smartphones, are now just a few clicks away from reading e-mails and checking their favorite websites.
The free service can be accessed by a given user once a day and terminates after 30 minutes. After this free period, additional time can be purchased by credit card at the regular HotSpot portal of the provider, T-Mobile. Related info:
Wireless LAN at the airport - Where can I find the nearest public / coin-operated telephone? Public telephones are located in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 next to the exits, in Terminal 1 on Level 03 next to the elevators and in the Munich Airport Center near the S-Bahn station entrances and the main information desk.
- Where are telephone cards available? Pre-paid mobile telephone cards are available at Newspoint, Edeka and the banks. Telephone cards for public telephones in EUR 5.00 and EUR 10.00 denominations are available at Reisebank.
- Where can I access the Internet? Passengers with their own device can use W-LAN. Otherwise you can go online for a fee using the equipment available at the Service Center in Terminal 1 (Munich Airport Center, Level 03) and Terminal 2 (Level 03, North).
- Where can I find an electrical outlet? Outlets are available, for example, next to the elevators, in the gate areas, in the restaurants and in the lounges as well as at the Internet stations in the Service Center.
- Where can I charge my mobile telephone? You are welcome to recharge your telephone at any available electrical outlet in the terminal.
