Rene Rainer

Rene Rainer's interest in beer started early. In his teens he was already helping out on school holidays in the Brauerei Rainer, his family's brewery. It was thus no surprise to anyone when he joined the Ferdinand Schumacher brewery in Düsseldorf in 2005 as an apprentice brewer and maltster.

After completing his apprenticeship his stop was Freising in Bavaria, where he entered the Master Brewer program at the Weihenstephan campus of TUM. While completing his studies Rene Rainer joined us at Airbräu as the assistant master brewer.

Today he is in charge of our brewery and produces our popular, naturally cloudy Airbräu beers.
