MUC Cargo Hub
Since Munich Airport opened at its present location, airfreight volume has increased by almost 200%. In recent years, the airport has already made substantial investments in the Cargo Center infrastructure and plans to continue its expansion efforts.
Record growth in air cargo
At the MUC cargo hub, all of the facilities needed for cargo handling are under one roof. Additional expansion projects are planned for the coming years, such as the further development of the border inspection office and the second phase of the freight forwarders building.
