The consultancy Munich Airport International GmbH (MAI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Flughafen München GmbH, provides management, consulting, and training services for the aviation industry worldwide. With four subsidiaries and associated companies, MAI employs around 100 highly qualified experts and can look back on more than 125 successfully completed projects in over 45 countries.

To support us in this endeavor, we are looking for a Consultant Facility Management & Maintenance (f/m/d) to join us in a diverse and dynamic international working environment.

Ihre zukünftigen Aufgaben

  • Strategic, technical and organizational consultancy to MAI´s international clients as well as airports and terminals managed by MAI in regard to maintenance of airport infrastructure covering, building management, central utilities and airport systems maintenance; and/or facility management covering service contract development, SLAs, make- or buy analysis.
  • Assistance of airport operators and project managers in testing & commissioning, integrating and handover of new airport facilities and systems. Planning, execution, and evaluation of operational scenarios for airport systems, facilities and related technical services. Translate findings and improvements measures in assumptions for business cases and plans
  • Development of airport maintenance plans, procedures, manpower requirements, outsourcing strategies and organizational set-up.
  • Participation in sales and marketing activities for airport project acquisition and development of new consulting products.
  • Staying up to date with latest trends in airport and aviation industry and applying knowledge to daily tasks within projects and management activities.

Das bringen Sie mit

  • University degree in engineering, electromechanical engineering or technical facilities management
  • Several years of experience in building management and the development of maintenance programs, preferably within a consulting company or within the aviation industry
  • Strong team player being capable of working and socializing with colleagues of different backgrounds. Highly motivated personality with a strong get-things-done attitude and a pragmatic and positive approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary professional environments with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Be able to accommodate working under deadline pressure and workload peaks. Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively and live abroad.
  • Excellent English language skills (oral and written), other language skills are advantageous, good German language skills welcome.
  • Skilled and experienced in working with MS Office Products, especially Power Point, Word and Excel.
  • Certified clean police record for airport pass application and police background check.
