The wholly-owned subsidiary Munich Airport International (MAI) offers airport management, consulting and training services worldwide. Over the past 28 years MAI has evolved from being the leading ORAT service provider to a global airport operator. Today MAI is a trusted partner for smart money and ambitious airports throughout the world. With four subsidiaries and affiliated companies, MAI employs around 85 highly skilled experts globally and has a proven track record of more than 110 successfully delivered projects across more than 40 countries.

MAI provides best practice solutions for the entire airport lifecycle, including bid advisory services for airport concessions, airport masterplan and design, operational readiness and airport transfer (ORAT), efficient and sustainable airport operations, optimization of aviation and non-aviation revenues, tailor-made training programs, as well as comprehensive airport management.

Currently we are looking for a Specialist PMO (m/f/d). The job holder reports to the Business Operations Manager.

Ihre zukünftigen Aufgaben

  • Responsible for the organization and execution of PMO operations/project management (processes, methods, tools, training)  including regular review and quality check of Project Management methodology and execution incl. change/adjustment of methodology
  • Lead implementation of project management standards, innovation and methodology for project managers to ensure quality in projects
  • Responsible for the execution and assurance of the data quality for project portfolio process (i.e. quarterly reporting of the project portfolio in the context of Project Management-reporting)
  • Responsible planning and control of the MAI/MIS project portfolio (i.a. quality assurance and preparation of the portfolio for Project Management-reporting of the MIS division)
  • Support acting Project Managers in set-up of project governance and project management structure and support the Business Development Team in setting up Project Management schedules and principles for consulting projects
  • Provision of project support for cross-departmental projects with a higher degree of complexity/ high external impact and project management of complex projects on own responsibility on a case-by-case-basis

Das bringen Sie mit

  • University degree in business administration / business sciences or similar field of study
  • Several years of professional experience in single-project management, preferably portfolio project management
  • Profound knowledge and several years of professional experience as a Project Manager in international environment
  • Excellent knowledge of project portfolio management as well as project management methods and tools; Certification GPM Level D, PMP or similar
  • Target driven personality with strong customer focus combined with a “Can do attitude” and a solution oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical approach, cost conscious and innovative mindset
  • Excellent German and English language skills (oral and written) and proficiency in the use of MS Office (incl. MS Project)
  • Certified clean police record for airport pass application and police background check
