Trainee (f/m/d) Airport IT

The consultancy Munich Airport International GmbH (MAI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Flughafen München GmbH, provides management, consulting and training services for the aviation industry worldwide. With four subsidiaries and associated companies, Munich Airport International employs around 100 highly qualified experts and can look back on more than 125 successfully completed projects in over 45 countries.

In this 12-month trainee program, we train junior staff for Munich Airport International who want to start their career with passion and commitment in one of the leading consulting companies in the aviation industry. In our trainee program starting 01.04.2023 you will discover the full diversity of the international business of Europe's first 5-star airport, successively get to know Munich Airport International 's business units and become part of our diverse team. We will involve you in strategic initiatives as part of our corporate development and give you indepth insights into our global projects. In addition, you will gain insight into the fascinating overall system of an airport within the scope of interdisciplinary projects. As a graduate of the program with a focus on Airport IT, you will be ideally equipped for your career as a Consultant Airport IT (f/m/d) in our international business. Ihre zukünftigen Aufgaben

  •  Support in planning, coordination and execution of strategic initiatives
  •  Contribution to development and implementation of IT standards, processes, tools and templates for global airport operations
  • Planning and execution of work packages in off-campus IT consulting projects
  •  Operational support of international airport/terminal companies
  • Establishing a knowledge network within Flughafen München GmbH and the Munich Airport International Group with insights into the most important roles and responsibilities within the organization

Das bringen Sie mit

  • Master’s degree in computer science or information systems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Passion for aviation and keen interest in airport IT
  • High performer with strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Customer minded (internal and/or external clients) and high level quality minded
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German, preferably additional languages
  • Willing to work and live abroad
  • Valid police background certificate for airport pass
