ACI Passenger Experience Management Course in Abu Dhabi

Empowering aviation professionals worldwide

From 30 June - 04 July 2025 the Munich AirportAcademy successfully conducted its Passenger Experience Management (PXM) training hosted by Etihad Aviation Training in Abu Dhabi. This intensive five-day program brought together a fantastic and diverse group of aviation professionals from Abu Dhabi, Jordan, Korea, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, and Zimbabwe — each contributing unique perspectives and valuable insights.

Advancing passenger experience through applied training

Our Munich AirportAcademy instructor Magdalena Sokol guided participants through a rich learning journey filled with interactive discussions, collaborative exercises, and a special visit to Zayed International Airport.

A highlight was the exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the airport’s heart and command center — the Airport Management Center (AMS). Here, participants carried out a practical audit of the passenger journey, applying the tools and concepts learned in class to real-world airport operations.

Throughout the week, participants openly exchanged experiences and tackled shared challenges, reflecting on how to turn fragmented touchpoints into one seamless, consistent passenger journey. Many left with concrete ideas on how to embed passenger experience as a strategic priority in their own organizations.

ACI PXM Management  - course description and registration

This course really helps me to guide the direction of passenger experience at our airports. It should be mandatory for all staff at the Civil Aviation Authority to emphasize the importance of passenger experience and its KPIs as part of corporate strategy.
