The consultancy Munich Airport International GmbH (MAI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Flughafen München GmbH, provides management, consulting and training services for the aviation industry worldwide. With four subsidiaries and associated companies, Munich Airport International employs around 100 highly qualified experts and can look back on more than 125 successfully completed projects in over 45 countries.

At our headquarters at Munich Airport, a multicultural team of approximately 70 employees works daily to achieve our mission: By sharing our best practices worldwide and actively participating in forward looking developments, we strive to lead the aviation industry into a more sustainable future.

We are looking for a (Senior) Consultant (f/m/d) to join us in our mission.  

Aufgaben, die begeistern

  • Advise our aviation clients as well as airports and terminals managed by us and participate in complex airport projects worldwide.
  • Support or lead our aviation consulting and management engagements in the areas of corporate strategy, business planning, commercial development, ORAT project management, and operations improvement. 
  • Formulate and develop recommendations, solutions and business cases with attention to client requirements and present them to our clients’ management on any level.
  • Support or lead business development engagements together with our teams to jointly succeed in the acquisition of new projects. 
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the aviation industry in the area of Advanced Air Mobility, Sustainability & Carbon Reduction and Digitalization & Automatization.
     

Qualifikationen, die zählen

  • You have a Master’s degree with focus on business, engineering or equivalent. Educational background in the area of aviation is of advantage. 
  • You bring several years of work experience in consulting business, airport companies or aviation industry with you.
  • You are a strong team player willing to work in and lead intercultural mixed teams. You are a highly motivated person with a strong analytical mindset and get-things-done attitude with a positive approach.
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills in multicultural and multi-disciplinary environments.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguous and changing situations and show a high level of commitment to your goals and tasks.
  • As you will be on several projects worldwide  it is required to be flexible in willing to travel extensively.  In addition a relocation to Germany (Munich) is no problem for you as you will work from the headquarter and travel globally from there.
  • You have excellent English language skills (oral and written), other language skills are advantageous, good German language skills welcome. 
  • You are skilled and experienced in working with MS365 and related applications.
  • Certified clean police record for airport pass application and police background check
